What Coverpilot processes

Your resume and the job postings you tailor to are sent to our server only at the moment you request a generation, passed to our AI provider to produce the result, and returned to you. We do not store your resume or job text on our servers.

What we store

A random device identifier and a count of your generations (to enforce the free tier and prevent abuse), and — if you purchase Pro — your license status. That's it. No accounts, no passwords, no browsing history.

What stays on your device

Your resume, your theme preference, and your recent results are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. Uploaded PDF/DOCX files are parsed locally in your browser.

What we never do

We never sell your data, show ads, or track you across the web.
